Update 3 – More prayers answered – Keep on interceding!!
If you are following the itinerary then you know I mixed the days up on the 2nd update. That was Thursday and Friday instead of Wednesday and Thursday. Now let me try to tell you about Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday –
• Nathan shared with us the background for another of the great hymns
• Left early in the morning for Butare – took 2 vehicles – things too tight
• Had lunch in a Chinese restaurant – one of Kathy’s favorites from 2016
• Arrived at the church for Crusade – some disappointments
• Bro. Tony Smith preached on “Ye Must Be Born Again”
• Pastor Tim Fellure preached on “What Must I Do to be Saved”
• Arrived late but prepared for next day. Men are tired, especially me.
• Middle of the night Tony Smith’s heart was giving him trouble. We booked a ticket for his return on Sunday night.
Sunday –
• Left at 6:30 am for Nyagatare – arrived at Gospel Light BC – saints were singing
• The singing men from America were asked to sing some specials – They sang “At Calvary” and “Near the Cross” – the believers were encouraged
• Pastor Fellure preached on “A Man in Trouble without a Bible”
• Pastor Fellure, Tony Smith and Tony Stark baptize 13 adults – this makes a total of 101 adults that have been baptized since the beginning in January.
• Shared a fellowship meal with approximately 200 people
• Toured the property including a remodeled parsonage and teaching center
• Travelled back to Kigali and took Tony Smith to the airport
• Dean Bekken preached on the radio and Sadock translated.
• Everyone packed and we prepared for the Monday morning flight to Uganda
Prayer requests –
• Safe journey to and in Uganda
• Sadock to be able to cross border and attend Missions Conference
• For each man to be filled with the Spirit
• For each man to see, hear and feel what God wants him to see, hear and feel
• For the seeds we are planting to fall on good ground and bring forth fruit
• For New Life Radio to be established in Rwanda
